Why RLabs for compression therapy?
Here at RLabs, we’re passionate about bringing the future of science to today for those who want to move, train and live better. Our innovative, cutting-edge recovery methods are built on the premise that technology can revolutionise how our bodies operate. Our high-tech rejuvenation and relaxation facilities will have you feeling like anything is possible every time you complete a session with us.
01 / Pain relief and muscle healing
NormaTec Compression Therapy mimics the body’s natural muscle contractions, pumping fluid out of the treated area and minimising swelling and pain. Active compression helps to improve the flow of essential nutrients to the body and help repair damaged tissue.
02 / Circulation
Active compression therapy helps to improve blood flow to the area being treated, which allows more oxygen and nutrients to the area in need. The compression improves overall circulation levels and can effectively treat varicose veins.
03 / Reduced inflammation
Chronic inflammation is a result of the body becoming overly reactive when it comes to fighting infection and stress. Compression therapy takes away edema (or fluids) from the area being treated, reducing inflammation and fighting pain.
04 / Sports recovery
Delayed-onset muscle soreness (DOMS) is caused by micro-tears in muscles, and can hinder your ability to return to the gym after a tough training session. Compression therapy alleviates DOMS, massaging the muscles so tension and pain melts away.

Have some questions?
How does compression therapy work?
The NormaTec Compression Therapy System was created by a physician bioengineer, and uses compressed air to massage your limbs, mobilise built-up fluid and speed up your recovery from a big training session. The system uses a patented NormaTec Pulse Massage Pattern to deliver maximum results for a wide variety of recovery goals.
Does compression therapy hurt?
NormaTec Compression Therapy does not hurt. The machine offers many different levels of massage pressure, so we’ll be able to find a level that’s comfortable for you while still giving you the most benefit.
