How often should I have a massage?
How often you should have a massage depends on the goals you’re aiming for or the conditions you’re trying to treat.
For overall wellness and stress relief, we recommend having a massage with us once or twice a month. For the treatment of chronic conditions, you’ll need to visit more frequently, perhaps starting with one massage a week for six weeks. For enhanced athletic performance, you can even book in for massages two to three times per week.
How do I prepare for my massage?
If it’s your first time with us at RLabs, please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your appointment time so our team can welcome you and discuss any needs you may have.
- Stay hydrated through the day before your massage.
- Wear loose and comfortable clothing so it’s easy to redress.
- Refrain from wearing any deodorant, perfume or cologne and refrain from shaving.
- Don’t eat for an hour and a half before your treatment to avoid any digestive discomfort.
